Description of 1970 Jaguar E-Type

Ready to run! This is that E-Type we all look for . the one that is restored and ready to enjoy. The previous owner (enthusiast) replaced the floor pans. outer sills. and trunk floor using Martin Robey parts. The work done was very professional and tidy. The wire wheels were also replaced. Specialty Sports Cars did a significant amount of work on the car prior to the trade in. I have used them over the years (such as rebuilding the front end). New parts………. - complete OSJI (Bartlett’s) interior including door panels. carpet. underfelt. hardura. leather seats and headrests. seat cushions. - High rev starter - stainless steel exhaust system (bell) - the steering wheel and shift knob was restored by British Autowood in Florida. - soft top (OSJI) - front and rear bumpers - new stereo - all rubber weather-stripping - rebuilt carbs - door chrome - rebuilt front end - trunk kit - spin on oil filter (not installed) The car runs smooth and strong. The oil pressure is 40 hot at idle and 55 at speed. The transmission is quiet and shifts well through the gears. We've identified a very small chip in the windshield right near the rearview mirror that is not visible to the driver or passenger. Body: This XKE is a real head-turner. even more as you get closer to its complete rust free body. original paint in burgundy. excellent chrome. razor straight lines. all original factory gaps. and clean rust-free hood. Mechanic: This a genuine matching-numbers car. that runs and drives as good as it looks. You'll enjoy letting this confident Jaguar run with its perfect working clutch. gear box and brakes. Interior: Shows wonderfully with the original black hides. factory carpet
