1.5 years ago, started with a 1957 Ford F600, merican Fire Apparatus fire engine with 8,000 total original miles on it. It was completely equipped and ran well. It was simply 58 years old. I finished it on 7/5/15 and here’s what I did to it: - Complete, xterior enamel paint job
Red, ine-X interior Silver Line-X diamond plate decking and rear hose compartment Sanded and refinished (Spar varnish) original oak decking, adders and pike pole All beat-up chrome fittings, auges, evers and placards sanded with base brass/bronze clearcoated Extensive powercoating: dash bezel, ront bumper, ose and ladder brackets, adder hardware, ront hooks, nd transmission tunnel cover Two-tone reupholstered seat and matching headliner Wheels and many items painted The underside of the hood is rubberized and the hinges are painted. However, he engine compartment is original and unrestored. The condition of the pumps and valves are undetermined. I installed a new brake booster and master cylinder.
