Description of 1989 Jeep Comanche

Up for sale is a 1989 Jeep Comanche 4x4 Pickup Pioneer Edition Long bed. This pickup has 191,000 miles on it and is still running strong and has plenty of pep. I have used it as a pleasure daily driver and to make runs to the home improvement store. And it truly is a pleasure to drive. I have recently replaced all the freeze plugs in it, ncluding the rear ones.
As for the condition. For its age it is in decent condition however my goal is to fully disclose any known issues so you can bid with confidence. - Tires - tires are just about to the wear indicators and just about ready for replacing. If the final buyer is interested I can put a decent set of tires on it for $300. - Body - the paint leaves some room to be desired, he clear coat is peeling on the majority of the truck, owever it is mostly consistent. The front left fender has been shaker can painted to match the truck the best I could. I could not find a paint shop that could color match the fender to the fadedness of the rest of the truck. There is also a small dent in the bed. Also missing the comanche emblem on the driver fender. The LH tail light has a crack that has been repaired by the previous owner.- Drive train - the transmission and transfer case shift smoothly, n fact better than any other vehicle I have driven. Engine starts easily every time. However, s most of these older iron block motors do, here is a bit of corrosion in the cooling system, t has been flushed and doesn't overheat.- Heating/AC - the Air Conditioning on this pickup works perfectly and can freeze you out. As for the heater, he heater core developed a leak so I have bypassed the heater core so there is no heat, ut a new heater core is $40.- Braking - I think this pickup could benefit from a new brake booster, ecause it feels like it doesn't have power brakes, got used to it and it doesn't bother me, gain just an FYI.- Interior - decent condition considering the age of the truck but it does have its blemishes. The driver seat does have a tear developing at the seam. Also the sun visor is missing a plastic clip but remains functional.
Well if you have read this far you seem pretty interested! This truck has been great to me and has never once failed to start for me. This would be a great platform for a complete restoration or just a fun vehicle to drive around town or to the jeep club meetings, ecause none of the jeep noobs knew jeep made trucks. I really hate to get rid of this truck but I need to clear its parking spot. Please contact me with any questions, will post up some more pictures soon. I am willing to consider offers. God Bless!
