E. in the Eastern Cape. She spent many years as intended - picking up supplies. pulling stumps out of the ground and tending the animals. After her life on the farm. she made her way to Johannesburg where a young lady from Australia. who was a Land Rover enthusiast. "restored" her. The job wasn't a nut and bolt restoration. but was perfect for a simple farm girl. Blanca had a fantastic makeover. original parts still intact. she was upgraded into a "troopie" and finally her dream came true. She received new bearings. rings and gaskets and an engine overhaul at 135. 00 miles (approx. 2010). Blanca was completely repainted and the entire drive train runs very well. The most recent work done included replacing the pipes from the oil reservoir (for the power steering) as well as throttle cable. She's out fitted with an audio system but unfortunately has no face to the radio. Blanca moved in with an English citizen (2013) who worked in RSA for a year and needed her companionship for general traveling and hunting trips to Graaff Reinet (known for its abundant trophy size Kudu). Blanca may be pretty all around. but she is a nomad and farm girl at heart.
