It is currently insured and my daily driver so mileage may be going up a little but not much. Also please know ebay doesn't recognize the vin number. Unfortunately Im only selling because the wife wants a new house :(VIN# SALLDHAC7BA282824 (not recognized Vin number by ebay)This Land Rover Defender is the ultimate recreational vehicle that lives by the motto “One Live Live it”! It is the perfect rig for those outdoor enthusiast that want to explore the world! Tuff. Rugged and more reliable than any Jeep! This Vehicle is an Ex Military Land Rover soft top 110. It served with the the 103rd Royal Artillery Regiment as a FFR truck that coordinated Troop. Aircraft and Artillery via Radio. This Land Rover was retired from active duty in 2008. The Land rover is finished in a military Patina. This is a norm for land rovers of this caliper. Prior to serving in the 103rd Artillery Regiment in was painted in Olive Drab ( roller painted) . When it was transferred to the 103rd. It was repainted in Desert Tan ( roller painted) for Active service during the Desert Storm Campaign ready for deployment but it is uncertain wether or not it saw combat during the Gulf War. Land Rover HistoryLand Rover is a British four-wheel-drive off-road utility vehicle developed from the original Land Rover Series launched in 1948. In October 2013 Land Rover announced that production would end in December 2015 for all Defender models. after a continuous run of 67 years. The 110 model was introduced in 1983 as the "Land Rover one ten”. with the numbers representing the wheelbase in inches. The number was spelled in full in advertising and in handbooks and manuals. and the vehicles also carried badges above the radiator grille which read "Land Rover 110". with the number rendered numerically. The One Ten replaced the earlier Land Rover Series. and at the time of launch. the only other Land Rover model in production was the Range Rover.
