Description of 1964 Lincoln Continental

This car is an original 85 K mile car that was taken apart to paint and never followed through with. I spent some time cleaning up the carburator and It fires up and runs strong. It Drives and shifts smooth and brakes strong and straight though the brake booster needs rebuilt. It has a new exhaust system and needs little to nothing mechanically. It needs a cosmetic restoration only meaning paint and interior work. There is no rust on the body or doors they are rust free. The Hood is near perfect. The trunk needs some body work but after which should be very usable. The previous owner calked the seams on the inside of the trunk. I would suggest that the trunk be striped to bare metal prior to paint and body work. The Floor boards are perfect. The bottom of the Doors have no rust on the underside. The body is remarkably straight and will need very little body work. All the glass is there and in great condition Windshield. back glass. door glass. The leather is still supple and could easily be dyed another color to be perfect again. All the parts are there and in good shape. I am happy to continue storing the car for a reasonable time while transportation is arranged. If necessary for transportation I can reattach the bumpers. I can also replace the back glass and windshield in a temporary yet secure manor for the purpose of transport. I have a clean title in hand.
