| At my age I've come to the realization that I have too many projects and not enough time!! Hate to let her go. up for bid my 1971 Lincoln Continental Coupe that I modified to become a roadster. It's my understanding that back in the day Ford / Lincoln had 15 convertibles made from this model year that sell for big bucks with car collectors. My game plan has been to restore the Lincoln mechanically then finish the cosmetics. now the mechanics are done many new parts and rebuilds lots of receipts just needs someone to step in and do the paint and body work and finish the interior . Body work will need to finish the removable top . my plan was to make a light weight composite top that would fit in the trunk. the photos show my plan to move the top forward giving it that early El Camino look.
