Description of 1970 Lotus Other S2

1970 Lotus Europa S2*** See additional pictures on my "hobby" website http://www. taylormadeclassiccars. com/vaeuropa. html1970 Lotus Europa Series 2 “matching numbers” very complete running project with 44. 00 miles and clear title. VIN# 65/0024R Has desirable Hermes intake manifold and Weber carburetor. Engine in car is NOT original. but from another Europa. Engine runs. but car is not drive able. Also comes with the original "matching numbers" engine and trans-axle that came with the car since new (unknown condition). Car needs complete restoration and rolls freely. Fiberglass fender flairs nicely done. Perfect for autocross or race-car project needing those wide racing slick wheels and tires. Has stainless steel door hinge pins. Has smaller non-OEM wood steering wheel. all gauges. air horns. one set of keys. emblems. rear trunk box. Windshield has scratches and some de-lamination. but have all four (4) corner metal trim pieces. Paper copy of Workshop Manual in binder included. Gotta love the "shag" carpeted glove box!Front box frame “T” section has rust-out and will need repair and/or replacement. The rust is on the bottom flat section of the front box and seems a simple straightforward repair for anyone capable of welding. I don't believe structural integrity is compromised (subjective opinion only). (NOTE: I have already sourced a restored frame that is available from another seller for nominal cost if desired). Comes with many extra parts such as extra front bonnet. front spindles. brake backing plates with shoes and springs. drive half shaft. trailing arm. heater box. original fiberglass fender cut-outs. new carpet set in box (but some mouse damage and crumbling padding. Most pieces useable or use as pattern). two extra rear bumpers. extra in-dash radio. radiator. starter. alternators. rear cross member. seat belts. rear spring. hub bearing housing. etc. (see pictures) Please remember that this is an "antique" vehicle 45 years old. It needs TOTAL restoration and is consistent with a vehicle with this mileage. age and use. Car is available for pre-bid inspections and I would always encourage and welcome this. I am proud of my 100% excellent feedback score and always try to give accurate descriptions so that there are no disappointments. I am open and receptive to realistic offers considering all that is included. Those with less than ten (10) or negative feedback history do NOT bid unless you contact me and communicate first. otherwise your bids will be retracted and bidder banned from further bidding. The winning bid is NOT a right of first refusal. but a commitment to purchase the vehicle regardless of anything. so a non-refundable deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction ending and arrangements to be made for pickup of item. Vehicle is listed "for sale" by other venues and media. so I reserve the right to terminate the listing at any time. Will sell world-wide. but any and all shipping/transport arrangements to be made and paid for by winning bidder/buyer.
