Description of 1988 Mazda 323

Served as my daily driver for many miles & seen me safely through many snow & mud trails. Currently registered in CA (all emissions related parts have been removed & i do not have them). sorry. If local. please feel free to come look or take for a test drive. Upon end of auction local pickup ok or have it towed. First let me say that she is no beauty queen & has served me dependably for many. many miles. Odometer/ speedo recently stopped working (I've deduced that mileage is actually closer to 200k according to service documents I have plus mileage I've added). 2nd gear of transmission is bad/ grinds (requires double clutch for smooth operation) bought it this way intending to fix but parts are hard to come by; never bothered me too much). few dings/ dents around car (nothing horrible). paint has chips (but looks halfway decent when clean). rust in rear wheel wells/ many parts of underside of vehicle (originally Tahoe/ Reno car). starter will eventually go but works for now. lower rear wing cracked on right side near base from friend being careless when pushing it (I'm sure a body shop can fix. nbsp;can't even tell unless you're looking for it). The interior is probably the highlight of the car & I'd say is reasonably clean/ in good condition. Radio is weird & only works on right side sometimes. tape player in-op. I'm sure there's more. Equipped with H. I. D. headlights (bought it that way). bigger turbo (not sure what size/ model). nbsp;down pipe/ straight pipe/ cat-back (pretty loud. definitely throaty). braided brake lines. has 4 newer wheels & will include 3 very cool old school bronze 5 star O. Z. racing wheels. as well as a big box with misc parts I have. I also have a decent stack of service related records I received when I purchased the car. I always take good care of my vehicles as best I can regardless of their condition/ value & I always choose OEM parts (those that I could find). Chevron 91 & good oil. Turn into a race car/ project. restore into it's rightful glory or part her out; in any case it's just time for me & my good little Mazda to part ways. If you have any questions. please be specific & I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Send them to my email: paulfederighi@yahoo. com Thank you!
