Description of 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Base Sedan 4-Door

For sale 1984 Mercedes benz 300sd
I5 with turbo diesel. Do I need to say more? Probably the most reliable mercedes ever build.
Here is what I know:
I bought this car about a year ago as a project, it was in good shape except fuel lines were leaking diesel, and the calipers were seized.
It was sitting in Indiana for a long time, the guy bought it from a layer from Florida. So car have minimum rust. Well I bought it because I wanted to have a classic car that looks great and have a diesel engine.
I wanted to do plastidip( to save it from Chicago weather + salt. and I also wanted to do an air suspension. but never had a chance or money. LOW AND SLOW that was my goal. But I got another idea and it's my 7th car right now. Too many projects.. I also have 84 porshe 944 Turbo and If I sell it before benz I will keep the benz, if I sell benz I will keep 944. If I keep both they WILL kick me from my house :D
What's good:
I have rebuilt most of the system and interior trim.
everything works as it should
antenna - works, radio is OEM and works great. all windows work, center looking system works. sun ruff works. well there is not much electrical stuff for 84 and everything works.
Engine:
New alternator,
new fuel lines
new monovalve
new brake lines
rebuild vacuum pump
rebuild front calipers
fuel pump was cleaned with diesel injector cleaner.
new belts
injectors were rebuild with monarch nozzles
Oil was changed about 600 miles ago
rear differential fluid was changed in march or aprill
new cover gasket & valves were adjusted in the summer
new links on sway-bar
here should be something else but I forgot
Exterior:
Here is what I really like
the car is professionally dipped with Mocha Brown ( dipyourcar.com) It's not flat like the most car you see. It looks great + it protects car from rust. The original collor is blue, if you take the plastidip of it's blue. But I would not do it as I paid 1500 for the job.
OEM Wheels were refinished this summer.
Grill is black, and it does look better in black.
Interior:
I hate to say buy it's the only reason why it's not in perfect condition. It was fine when I got it, when I start using it, seats start to crack. I put some protective coating on it but It was too late. I was looking for a set of seats but never found any. I would replace the seats and this car would look awesome. I was truing to get them repaired but I gave up. leather is too dry need replacement.
I refinished the doors, I have replaced the wood so it does not have any cracks. except the main piece. the center piece was refinished and does not have any cracks.(can you find one without cracks,hm?)
I have replaced the rear panel( when it had an emergency kit) with wooden panel with 2 bose covers. Looks great
BADS:
I lost the rear handle. IDK where is it.
I put a alternator belts from napa and they make noise when engine is cold. I would get a new belts.
I would replace the seats. or get covers. but covers is not what you want to get for this benz.
NO AC condenser is missing
I love the car and I spent some time getting it in shape + I would take $3500 cash for it.
Great german classic with great engine and unique color. But the seats!
LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. I am combining pictures because ebay only letting me to add 12 and extra is ($) and I don't have it.
