Up for sale is a 1988 Mercedes 560 SL. Odometer reading 66,xxx MILES.The car was bought at Walnut Creek Mercedes in 1996. It has had two owners in the past. The previous owner drove it very little and let it sit since 2004 starting it up periodically through the years. Recently tuned up and put back on the road! The car is runs, drives, and shifts well. It has a clean California title. The paint appears to be original, with no signs of a repaint in the past. Could use some TLC. Small areas of oxidation. It is finished in Smoke Silver (702) metallic and red interior, a rare beautiful color combination! It is powered by a 5.6L V8 backed by a four-speed automatic transmission and chromed factory wheels. US-market bumpers and lighting are retained and slotted 15' 5-lug factory wheels have been chromed. A matching hardtop and Soft top are in fair shape. The factory Becker Grand Prix AM/FM/Cassette stereo is retained in the dash. The black convertible top inside the medium red leather seats are all original and there is no die work on them. It's an accident-free vehicle, the body is very straight. Beautiful color combination. Original red interior (seats and carpets are clean, dash needs some attention). Very low mileage and desirable vehicle! Chrome rims still in great shape! Great local car.
