1963 Mercury S-55 convertible

1963 Mercury S-55 convertible 1 of 1355 made. Factory black, with console shift and bucket interior. Ford Galaxie XL big brother. This car is a 10 footer, meaning it looks great 10 feet away, up close although still looks good but has tiny paint blems, scratches, stainless was polished but has many dings. Interior is very nice, passenger lower bucket seat has a small seam splitting on the bottom. Carpet is worn but still again looks good for cruising. 390ci4barrel carb runs perfect,drives good. Brand new tires, new battery,

The issues: lower rockers need replacing manyyears ago looks like they justbondo'd over therusted area. Floors look ok, little spots here and there, rear quarter had been worked on and the frame has been patched under the front buckets area. This carhas the huge X frame thatis very strong and sturdy. As I said I am not wanting to sell this car to someone who wants a perfect car for a low price. You can either take it down and restoreor you can enjoy this convertible that gets thumbs up everywhere Igo... Convertible pw tops works fine. All pw windowsworks great.

I included two pictures of another 63 merc convertible that has a rebuilt frame with new bushings, I would be willing to sell with car for separate price. Car just went up for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction early.
