Up for sale is a 1976 Mercury (Ford) Capri coupe. I've owned the car for a little over one month, but I have too many projects on hand and little funds to maintain it. The car has the 2.8L Ford Cologne V6 with C3 automatic transmission. The car has a more recent paint finish, done by the previous owner (not sure when). The car is free of structural corrosion and accident damage, very clean for a Capri. The car does run, although it needs a new water pump. The car does not pass CA smog due to a disconnected EGR valve and vacuum hose circuit; these can be found easily and it will not take much to tune her up again. The car has a clean CA title and is currently registered as a non-op. I really would like the car to go to a good home where someone can bring it back to it's former glory.
