Description of 1993 Nissan 300ZX Leather

Offering our immaculate 1993 Nissan 300ZX convertible. Completely unmolested, 100% original, non-smoker car. Matter of fact, the cigarette lighter has never been used (see photos). When was the last time you came across an absolutely untouched, low mileage, garage kept, 25-year-old vehicle at a very reasonable price? Finished in a stunning Cherry Red Pearl metallic (Nissan paint code AH3) with charcoal full leather interior and a black lined top. $40,000 new, and available now for a mere fraction of that. Only 75k original miles which averages to a mere 3,000 per year since new. While most vehicles are driven 12-15,000 miles per year, this 300ZX was always treated as a collector car and therefore garaged, sparingly driven and properly maintained without regard to cost. As if the car itself weren't rare enough, this particular one has the extremely hard-to-find 5-speed manual transmission which adds immeasurably to the 'fun-factor' when driving.

How rare is this car you may ask? Well, according to reliable sources online, only approx. 100-and-change were built in this configuration for the '93 model year. How many remain today? Likely just a handful, especially in this condition. Fact is, older Japanese cars are becoming very rapidly highly sought after collectibles (take a look at current values of the early 240Z's for example, wow!) Our feeling is you can expect a virtual 'unicorn' car like this to certainly follow that path of value appreciation...a great investment you can actually drive and enjoy.

The transmission shifts smoothly and overall it drives like a much, much newer vehicle with excellent handling, braking, and acceleration. A Car and Driver 'Ten-Best list vehicle every year it was in production!

Timing belt kit, water pump, and all accessory drives have been done not long ago. Cold A/C and a great heater. Clutch is perfect. Even the factory power antenna still works properly. Adult owned Florida vehicle that has absolutely never been abused, as we believe the photos are a true testament to. There are no ridiculous looking body kits, gigantic wheels, cold air intakes, obnoxious booming aftermarket stereos, or other modifications to be found here.

Simply put, it's just as delivered from Japan more than a quarter century ago. Car shows very nicely and is likely the finest example at anywhere near this price you'll ever find in a classic 25 year old 300ZX that has actually been driven. Mileage will vary slightly as the car is still occasionally exercised on sunny weekends. 100% stock and original other than normal maintenance related items (tires, brakes, fluids, etc.). Only noteworthy cosmetic issues are the expected fading of the factory plastic rear windows (new ones could be stitched in very inexpensively if you find it bothersome), a slightly drooping top liner, minor wear on the leather shift knob as you'd expect, along with the typical tiny paint nicks and scuffs consistent with normal but careful use over the years.

Engine is a 3.0-liter, 24-valve V6 factory rated at 222HP coupled to the slick-shifting trans makes for a very entertaining car to drive. New Kumho performance tires. Oil and filter were very recently changed (doesn't burn a drop). Vehicle has not been professionally detailed, simply washed and the photos were taken recently (April, 2018 so yes the car looks exactly as you see here) by me personally.

So, the obvious question: why sell such a beautiful, rare car? Well, the short answer is we ended up with a new 5.0-liter, 6-speed Mustang convertible finished in the exact same color combo so this one unfortunately must go due to lack of currently available garage space. We're hopeful this very rare Z32 Nissan lands in the hands of another caring enthusiast. Still one of the best looking cars on the road in our opinion, it turns heads everywhere you go!

As far as purchase terms go, certainly prefer a local cash deal if possible. Shipping, if required, is the sole responsibility of the buyer. A small deposit is requested immediately upon sale to secure the purchase. Clean NJ title, currently registered with antique 'QQ' tags which incidentally provides for very inexpensive insurance which is worth mentioning.

Private owner transaction, not a dealer so there are no additional fees of any type. The reserve has been set very reasonable to assure a successful sale, but in fairness to all prospective bidders will not be divulged. Please view my feedback built over many years here on Ebay including the sale of another of my collector cars to a very happy buyer. Any questions not covered here or to make arrangements to come view the car in person, please feel free to ask.
