Description of 1974 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass

This ad features a 1974 Hurst Olds Cutlass 2 Door Hardtop. The car has had the motor and transmission pulled out by the previous owner.

The car was disassembled by a previous owner. Unfortunately like many overwhelming projects it stalled. It may be missing a few trim pieces but it appears otherwise complete and comes with a few extras. Car has a clear title.

So here is the bad:

Rusty trunk and rear quarters

Dent in front driver's fender

Restorable??I think so for a talentedbody person!

Here is the Good:

455 V8 block, heads and crankshaft great base for an overhaul!!!! No intake but includes correct Rochester carburetor, brackets etc

400 Turbo-Hydramatic Transmission

Posi Rear end (unsure of gear)

Console Shifter

Oldsmobile Sport Steering wheel

Swivel Bucket Seats

floor shifter steering column

Complete Interior panels in very good condition

Hurst Olds Rally Wheels

Clean Fenders, doors, deck lid and Hurst Olds/442 Hood

Options, A/C,

But I have a 455 block, heads and crankshaft that came with the car along with a BOP 400 THM Transmission. The interior was also taken out to repair the driver's floor pan. It appears I have all the interior trim. It has power steering, swivel buckets, A/c and console shifter.

Body: The body is rough in spots so please look at the photos, needs a trunk and rear quarters. Doors are clean, as are the door jams. The front fenders are very clean as well and includes an extra driver's side fender. I have the side rear pillar glass but there is no windshield.

The car is essentially complete with era correct drivetrain (I'm not sure it is numbers matching) with the 455 Olds V8, 400 THM transmission, has the factory differential, and factory rear sway bar. I have many of the lit bits and pieces for the motor, distributor, Quadrajet carb (numbers matching). Again the frame is unmolested and all original with no rust or collision damage.

This would make a great restoration project or to use for parts.
