Description of 19700000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Clone

Vehicle Summary:This is a 1970 Firebird Trans/Am clone that was built to be in a class of its own. This is a pro-touring style build that not only has the stance but all of the suspension components to make it handle like the car is on rails. It is equipped with a fully built and cammed Pontiac 455 big block that has more torque than the car can handle. Mated to the big block is a freshly built TH-350 with a stall converter sized to complement the cam profile in the motor. One of the most impressive features of this car are the body modifications that create a much more aerodynamically sound vehicle. The rockers were extended down 2 full inches from factory along with the lower fenders and rear quarters. This allows for a lower stance but gives more frame clearance to make for an easier driving experience. The tail pan of this muscle car was designed to mimic the appearance of the 2010 Camaro diffuser fins which gives the car a much more modern appearance. The hood used on this car started as a formula hood that was modified by creating a two inch cowl and extending the ram air vents further into the hood creating a more eye appealing transition. When looking at the paint scheme you will notice that everything is tied in together. For example, he wheels, umper, rim, nd engine compartment have all been color keyed to create a car that looks as good as it drives. The paint is a GM white with gunmetal stripes that flow into the engine compartment via a custom hand made radiator cover. Wheels are the popular Rushforth LiveWires with gunmetal centers and they are slowed down by bias adjustable four wheel slotted disc brakes. The interior in the car has been completely reworked such as a fully upholstered set of 4th gen Trans/Am front and rear seats. The carpet is brand new and sound deadener has been used from the firewall to the trunk.
