Description of 1976 Pontiac Trans Am

Up for auction is my 1976 Pontiac Trans Am 455 5 speed car. It has a . 060 over 455 in it which makes it a 468 ci. now. 6x heads. Butler Performance rotating assembly. (Eagle crank. eagle H rods. Keith Black Icon polished forged pistons. all balanced by Butler Performance). It has a Summit Racing 2801 cam with Comp Cams black Chrome push rods and PRW full roller rockers. Edelbrock performer intake with Edelbrock Q-Jet carburetor set up to a 850 cfm. The transmission is a beefed up Borg Warner World Class T-5. It has Energy Suspension body mounts added and an Energy Suspension poly urethane front suspension kit will come with it. It has a Nice Pioneer deck with Kenwood 6x9 in the rear deck and 6" rounds in the doors powered by an Audiobahn 600 watt amp. Sounds awesome. The bird on the hood has recently developed cracks around the wings where it was clear coated over. I have a new bird that will come with it. (just don't have the time to do it myself anymore). It does have some body putty in the rear quarters. about a 4 - 5" diameter but looks good. no rust anywhere else. It is a solid car and runs and drives great. can be driven as is and is very respectable and gets thumbs up and comments where ever I go in it. or with a little more attention could be made a show car trailer queen. Your choice. The interior is decent. the head liner is redone with black automotive carpet. The seats are out of a 79 donor car with the bottoms of the front seats redone. Carpet is original and is in good condition considering the year of the car. Door panels are decent for a daily driver but I would replace them if showing the car. The dash has a new cap that looks very good and is hard to tell that it is a cap unless you know it's there. It has 3:08 gears and still has a way powerful launch with a 75 MPH cruising speed in 5th gear of 1850 RPM. It actually gets around 24 MPG on the highway as long as you keep the secondary's closed (open them up and it pulls hard in every gear). I also have a stroked 455 to a 472 with a full roller retro setup with almost zero miles which I can include for an additional 4000. 00. The only reason I pulled the stroker out was to turn it into a roller block. just never got around to putting it back in. besides. the 060 block that's in it runs VERY strong. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally too. A deposit of 500. 00 to paypal within 48hours of auctions end is required and the remainder to be paid in full upon pick up of the car. I have a clear title in hand so there is no BS or waiting for that to be transferred. Please ask any and all questions before bidding and I will respond ASAP. Thank you for your interest
