Especially as well preserved and original as this fine 1960 Catalina. Pontiac designers were at the top of their game by the late fifties and made some of the sleekest cars on the road. Especially their full size line up like this Catalina that launched a borage of low lean cars throughout the sixties. It is hard to beat a big ole sixties convertible! This one is as sexy as any Cadillac and floats down the road with ease. Mainly because it is powered by the legendary 389 V-8 that was used in most Pontiacs of this era. The motor was rebuilt to factory specs during the restoration along with the automatic transmission. It runs smooth and strong! It also sports power steering and power brakes. The motor compartment is nicely detailed in correct colors and even has some factory markings on the firewall. The body on this car is super slick. covered in beautiful modern paint in the original Coronado Red and has a tight fitting power operated top. The trim. chrome. and glass are very nice. Good thing because I am sure it would be hard to find if missing. The body fitment is outstanding! The interior is very unique. The vinyl fabrics are two tone and the sculptured door panels have white accents. The carpet is faded due to showing the car with the top down so I am sure it will be replaced soon. The rest of the interior is very original with all the factory parts unaltered. The chassis is solid and shows well but is driver quality. The trunk compartment is nice with a correct mat and full size spare cover. This car rides on original style white wall tires accented with smooth factory wheel disc. This unmolested car is as close to original as you could find with awesome paint. It is a very pretty car that is easy on the eyes and fun to drive.
