Description of 1975 Pontiac Catalina |
Wagons are cool. And survivor wagons are even cooler. Then add in the clamshell tailgate. I purchased this car from an estate sale a few years back. It was a one-family car up until then, with its primary caretaker driving the car to just two main destinations: golf and Publix. As far as I know, paint and engine are all original. I added the GTO hubcaps, Koni dampers and white wall Cooper radial tires. Other than that, it’s as delivered by Pontiac. (The original hubcaps are included.) The car has been sitting outside, and all of the major boo-boos are shown.Good glass and chrome. All of the emblems are present. Great seats. The car comes with a ton of paperwork. Engine fires right up–even when cold–idles nicely, and cruises well. The clamshell tailgate works. It doesn’t drive like a big car. Great steering. Gets all the attention. Equipment as listed on the build sheet: Tinted glass Bench seat Front floor mats Body side molding Power tailgate Air conditioning Remote-control mirror 2.73:1 rear end 400-cubic-inch engine w/four-barrel carburetor Glove box lamp Electric clock AM/FM rado Roof rack Graystone with red interior. Only two rows of seats--no third row. Air conditioning system is present but does not blow cold air. Cooling system redone including new radiator. Car has a clean Florida title in my name. No warranty. More photosavailableupon request. Car is located in Ormond Beach, Florida, just 15 minutes from Daytona International Speedway. Pick it up while at the Daytona Turkey Run. |
