Description for Pontiac Fiero 1987

1987 Pontiac Fiero with 189,567 mile on it. It has 18" Tenzo R series, black with polished lip, rims. Front tires are Kumho Ecsta 4X 225/40R18 92w XL. Rear tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 235/40R18 95y. All four tires have excellent tread, less than 4500 miles on them. This Pontiac Fiero has the 5-speed manual Getrag transmission. This Fiero has the Moon Roof option. There is an after market Pioneer cd/radio player.. The paint is fair, see pictures. This has been my daily driver for the last year. I am a Fiero enthusiast and this is my fourth Fiero. I am forced to sell my Fiero because I had reconstructive surgery on my left knee, the traffic and street congestion wreck havoc on my knee because of the clutch. I have replaced many parts and have done a lot of work on this Fiero during the past three years. Most work I've done myself and some I've had to get a local mechanic shop do. The Fiero is currently registered as PNO (planned non operation) since October 2016, so there is no back registration to worry about.
The Pros
New tires
New rear calipers
New radiator
New custom sunvisors
New center console cover (clearly displays shift diagram)
New shocks & struts
New plugs & wires
New distributor cap and rotor
New Starter
New water pump
New Clutch
New Clutch master & slave cylinder
New positive & negative battery cables
New left & right rear quarter windows
New air & fuel filters
New thermostat
New coolant fan switch
New heater core
Headlight motors work well and as they should
The Cons
The Fiero is 30 years old
The drivers seat is torn (see picture, typical wear in Fieros)
The glove box needs restraint (see picture)
There is a slow oil leak (see picture, represents 7 days parked in same location)
There is "bubbling" on rear tail lights (see picture, typical for Fieros)
The trunk lock cylinder is missing (see picture, must use screwdriver to open)
The transmission is temperamental in 3rd & 5th gear when cold
The paint looks good, but closer up you can see small imperfections
The Air Conditioning does not work
The Windows work, but move slowly
The electric door locks stick ( typical issue on Fieros)
The electric mirrors do not work ( can be adjusted manually)
The cruise control dies not work
* The nuetral start switch is missing on clutch pedal. It is connected directly so be sure its in nuetral before starting. Received Fiero with this piece missing and never got around to replacing it. This does not affect how the Fiero drives.
