Description of 1970 Porsche 911 911T

Try finding a good Porsche 911 tub to work with... go ahead. Now try to find one that is straight AND rust free :)
This Porsche started life as a 1970 911T. The cars tub is absolutely straight and rust free. The original speedo shows 53,000 miles.....lack of wear....could be right, could be. A few years ago a project was started in San Diego from what we are told and made its way to Spokane Wa. Turbo flares have been added to the car as well as lower 964 sill trim and 911SC doors. The paint and body work are great from 3 feet. Unfortunately the prep work was apparently rushed and small paint bubbles are apparent over the frt fenders, hood and roof. If the plan is for a race or track the car, who cares. But, if looking to build a nice street "r gruppe" type ride the paint is ok....just. There are few, I do mean few blemishes, a small golf ball size dent in the right front fender, a paintless dent on the left fender...small chips, that's it.
THE ORIGINAL COLOR CODE ON THE CAR IS 2626 or CONDA GREEN and if would have continued with this project I would strip the car to bare metal, fix the small body imperfections and paint the sucker CONDA GREEN !!! Rare color option in 1970 !!!!
There are TONS of parts.....there is NO MOTOR...sorry. The lucky winner will have choice between a correct 901 gearbox or a later 915. Most everything is there to assemble the car (sans the motor) Fuchs 8's and 10"s. all suspension bits, Wiring harness, SC seats, carpet, brake calipers (will need rebuilding) Hubs, NEW FRONT AND REAR Brgs sets, Oil tank, New rear shocks, New stainless brake lines. There are boxes of stuff, not all of it has been unpacked !!! All glass except the Windshield....I'd do plexi anyhow :) Some new rubbers, seals.
It's a project no matter how you might look at it. But, again the tub is straight and has zero rust and the cars original color is mucho rare. I was able to fit the car and all of the parts into a 23 foot trailer and using the pickup bed. It all fits nicely. Easy tow....
Great father son project, as long as dad has a nice sized wallet :) Great Race/Track build opportunity, Terrific hotrod project !
Happy bidding. I do reserve the right to end this auction at any time and for any reason.
