Description of 1985 Saab 900 SPG

1985 Saab 900 turbo SPG. One of 1. 69 made the 1st year of SPG production. The car was an every day driver until rust issues forced it off the road. I start and move it regularly and was hoping to restore it. It is a project or a goldmine in parts. depending on your perspective. I will give an accurate description listing the cars good and bad points. Feel free to ask questions and I will answer as soon as possible. The engine is not original to the car but in excellent condition with approximately 20. 00 miles after a refresh. the engine is worth $1. 00 alone without all the accessories. turbo is good. Aero rims in good condition but I do not have a set of 4 hubcaps to go with the rims. so the caps are not included in the sale. original and rare Saab louvers on a clean hatchback. also a VDO gauge package. temperature/oil pressure/voltage. sunroof works fine. power locks and windows work well. window motors recent replacements from Rockauto. SPG aero kit complete and in good condition. interior: rear seats have good leather with no tears. front seats were recovered in vinyl (seat fronts only) drivers seat has minor rip. door panels are excellent including the cloth inserts. headliner is ugly. nbsp;dash has typical cracks. Sony radio with 10 CD changer installed; good working condition and is included. circa 1989 rusty floors. rocker panels. quarter panels and bonnet. door bottoms too. front fenders are very good. transmission is original and worn. starting to slip out of second gear. typical for the mileage. brakes were good but loosing fluid most recently. master cylinder is going.
