For sale is my complete 1974 Saab Sonett Project, and parts car (yellow rear, orange front). I bought the two cars last year but can't find the time to do the restoration. I'm mostly a Ford guy - and so it seemed pretty cool that Saab installed ford engines in their cars at the factory. I think the sonetts look great and i like that they are front wheel drive.The good project car is the one with the orange rear end and no hood or doors installed. I put the orange hood on the yellow parts car only for convenience. As shown in the photos, the yellow doors are in excellent shape, as is the yellow hood. The project car is in very good condition - the only rust is in the trunk bottom -i've heard this is a common area for these cars. One of the (4) mag wheels are on the parts car. there are (4) extra tires/wheels. The following is a quick summary:- new exhaust manifold- new alternator- the engine in orange car turns over well and is complete.- the yellow parts car steering wheel is out of the car, so yellow parts car does not steer well.- the orange car steers very well, tight.- it is missing the interior seats- (2) rear glass - both in excellent condition, not currently installed on cars- (2) extra hood inserts
in summary, there is basically two of everything. Lots of parts. I believe if the carb is rebuilt, clutch and brakes are bled, radiator flushed, gas tank flushed, and all engine accessories installed, it will fire up and be drivable. The cars have clean titles, and will provide bill of sale.
