This is the Real Deal Cobra replica. A real head turner everywhere it goes. engine is very lopey and muscular sounding. It was featured on the front cover of Kit Car Magazine March 1997 issue with full feature story. A copy comes with the car. This car is a factory built Everett Morrison 1967 427 S/C replica featuring the proper 427FE medium riser " side oiler" engine. The engine has approx. 15000 miles on it. It was dynoed at 600HP at the flywheel and is a stroker motor balanced and blueprinted using a 428 crankshaft resulting in 452 CID. This engine has Ford LeMans rods. JE pistons. Mc Leod aluminum flywheel. Lakewood bell housing. 2-4bbl carbs. Dove rocker arm shafts. a solid lifter Competition brand cam opening Manley valves. and has stainless headers and collectors. Transmission is a Ford toploader 4 speed with large shafts front and rear with a Hurst shifter below. connected to a Ford 9" rear axle with an aluminum housing containing 4:11 gears. Brakes are manual disc all around. Suspension is Mustang II type " tubular" front and Panhard bar rear setup with a strong four link system and coil overs all around. Wheels are Halibrand knockoff replica's mounted with Mickey Thompson ET STREET Radials. Also equipped with Hella high- power driving lights in front. nbsp; a heater assy. Pioneer radio and tape deck. and a Carter high volume electric fuel pump. Also comes with a soft top and tonneau cover. This engine will run all day on pump 93 gasoline and this car has not aged over the years except the carpeting which was all replaced ($550) in summer of 2012. All underside brake and fuel tubing is high grade stainless and was installed as original equipment at the Everett Morrison factory. The soft top does show the years and probably needs new fabric. On the underside of the hood there is a hand painted message that will make bowtie lovers crazy. Purchase includes a genuine Shelby Race Team nylon windbreaker actually worn in the pits circa. 1964-65. and all documentation relating to its lifetime.
