Here is a very original 1954 Studebaker Champion Deluxe Starlight Coupe. It has a 3-speed manual transmission and an excellent running 6cylinderenginewithgood oilpressureand nosmokeor blow by, Has the correct 170 cubic inch flatheadengine for a 1954 Champion.Brakes are good, clutch is good as is suspension and steering. Interior is in above average condition but does need a carpet. Body has some rust underneath, mainly the cross member, but floorboards and trunk are mostly solid. Front fenders are fiberglass replacements. Paint looks good from 20 feet but close up is in fair to poor quality with somecracking in various areas. Hood hasheavyorangepeel. Chrome is very good, tires are good, all glass is good,except passenger door glass(has a crack).Car runs and drives very well but several wires are missing so it needs a new wiring harness. Onlyignitionwiresarehooked up. A complete wiring harness sells for around $400 from various Studebaker vendors. Gas tank door needs somewelding,no door key or trunk key,justignitionkey(ignitionswitchis not original andnot inoriginallocation).Lastly,rear seatcenter arm rest is missing.PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!
