Selling my beautiful daily driver 1987 Toyota SR5 pickup. It is in amazingly nice mostly original condition. It needs nothing, ready to drive anywhere. I bought this about a month ago to replace my leased Dodge Ram when I turn it in at the start of next year. I just came up on an extremely nice Camaro Z28 that's been a dream for years. With a new baby showing up a month early, I have to get rid of one of the vehicles. Since I still have my Dodge through next year, I'm going to let the Toyota go, and find another truck next year.
This is an original Colorado truck, bought new in Englewood, CO. It has 152,000 miles on it, going up as I drive it daily. It comes with lots of original maintenance history, owners manual and paperwork. It has a clean Colorado title in my name. I just ran it through Larimer County CO emissions testing, and it passed perfectly. It will pass emissions in California, or any other state. It runs perfectly, everything works and it needs nothing. Ice cold air conditioning as well!
Lots of maintenance within the last few years and ~30k miles. New clutch, resurfaced flywheel, previous owner said timing chain and guides were done, though I don't have paperwork on that. Motor runs perfectly and has no noise whatsoever. It is a 22RE EFI motor. 5 speed manual shifts great. 4WD works perfectly with good manual locking hubs and transfer case. Great All Terrain tires as well with I believe mid-90's Tacoma rims.
The original red paint is in excellent shape overall. The bed has been repainted once but is a good color match. The truck had original SR5 stripes on the hood and doors, but they were very sun cracked. I removed them and put on a new original style stripe kit in white with black accent. They are not completely perfect in person, but look very nice for a great driver. There is no rust anywhere on the truck, it is rock solid. It has an aftermarket rear bumper as well. Tailgate works perfectly.
The interior is in extremely nice original condition. Not shown in pictures or video, but I have a new leather shifter boot coming next week. The original is fairly worn and cracked, it will be replaced before sale. The seat fabric and carpet are excellent, with very minor wear. No tears. The headliner looks like new and is in perfect shape. The interior light works great. All electronics, gauges, heater, and A/C work perfectly. The windshield wipers work perfectly as well, and have new blades. The windshield wiper reservoir is full, however the sprayers do not work. I have not troubleshot this at all, it could be the button or pump. Weatherstripping is great on doors and windows, no leaks at all in heavy rain.
