Description of 1971 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia

1971 Westalia in good condition for its ageOwn the best year of the bay window bus. 1971 was the first year for disc brakes and the last year of the type 1 engine - which makes upkeep and maintenance much easier than later model buses.
This particular bus runs well and has a new carb, resh generator, resh voltage regulator, resh oil change and valve adjustment. The upholstery is in pretty good shape. A few of the cushions are starting to wear at the seams but there are no rips or tears. This appears to be a very low rust vehicle. The cargo area appears to have no rust and there is minimal rust in the battery tray and only a few small pinholes in the front floor. There is almost NO rust around the windows, rarity. The doglogs are in good shape and in tact.
The bus features a complete camper interior in good shape. The only thing missing from the camper interior is the water resovoir. The upper cot campus is in good shaped and the bus will be included with freshly sandblasted bumpers and correct tires in good shape.
As good as a start for a driver or restoration as this bus is, here are a few things that should be addressed.There is a bit of minor front damage that was repaired well. You can see this in the picture of the nose of the busThere is some filler on both rear corners that will need be worked on.Probably the biggest thing is the wiring. The lights have some gremlins and the generator light is on even though I have tested both the generator and voltage regulator and they both test fine.The front windshield is crackedJalosy windows need new knobsNeeds new pop top canvas

The description talks of damage to the nose saying it was repaired well. This should've read that it WASN'T repaired well.
