Description of 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI Super, utodelta works car

The racing version of the Giulia TI Super was the responsibility of the factory’s “Autodelta” competitions department, hich had been established in 1961 as an independent company “Carlo Chiti” and “Ludovico Chizzoia”, nd subsequently adsorbed by Alfa Romeo.

This prepared by Autodelta for 1965 Sebring 3-Hour race in the USA and finished 6th overall. The Giulia TI Super, utodelta works car, lso competed in the SCCA GT2 class in 1979.

This Autodelta Giulia TI Super was imported into Japan in 2008 and registered also in “Registro Giulia TI Super ( http://www.giuliatisuper.it/index.htm)” in Itallia. It had previously been restored in 1982 with correct lightweight body panels. In 2010, t’s floors and side-sill have been replaced as new.

The engine is with rare“blank engine number”platebecause the engine has been “made” by Autodelta factory itself with TI Super block, ot by Alfa Rome, then there is cast characters “AD” in hand-carved triangle and number 18 on the engine block. It features the full oiling block; hardened crank shaft and con-rods are those for competition, ig-valve cylinder head and twin rare Weber 45DCOE14 carbs, type used only for TZ, TA and TI Super. Original Campagnolo magnesium wheels; rare large size of 7Jx14. Autodelta air intake. Full roll-cage by Autodelta hand-made go through engine bay and trank, lso roll- cage are all welded on to the body!

Included in the sale are Certificate by Alfa Romeo SpA, riginal catalogue Giulia TI Super,SCCA logbook and Original US Title, o that registration in US is believed to be smooth. Alfa Romeo SpA Certificate of Conformity and many other documents.
