It’s mechanically sorted. recently serviced and ready to put a smile on your face. Very cool italian touring coupe bodied by Bertone with it’s original interior! All-alloy inline 2. 6 liter 6 cylinder engine with twin overhead camshafts 3 twin-choke horizontal carburettors These larger-engined Alfas are rapidly being snapped up by collectors and have been appreciating for the past several years. It’s a car that “ticks all the boxes”. iconic looks (one of my favorite front ends). great to drive. low production numbers (under 7. 00 built) and very original condition. It appears to have had one repaint a long time ago. or possibly just had some large areas touched up. You can see the overspray in the rear end in particular. It’s hard to tell with the older enamel based paint. The wonderful brown leather interior is certainly very original and always gets a lot of “ooohhhs and aaahhhs” from my car-guy buddies who visit the garage. They are absolutely like an old leather Lazy-Boy that you night find in grandpa’s garage. The seats aren’t “supple" but they’re also not completely dry. The car can be driven very comfortably as-is. This is a car out of my personal collection. I bought it at the beginning of the year with a view to holding onto it for a long time and watching it go up in value as I enjoyed driving it. I’ve done a little too much buying this year and have had to now make some tough decisions and let a few cars go. Sadly. this killer little italian coupe is one of them. but it deserves to be in a collection where it’s driven and enjoyed regularly. Also. it’s an historically significant car. being the last Alfa Romeo model to have been fitted with an inline six-cylinder engine having twin overhead camshafts. This Alfa fires right up and drives great. All lights and electrics work properly. Clutch is good. brakes are good. doesn’t overheat and idles very well when warm. As you can see from the pics. it’s free of any rust concerns and is a good solid example. The paint has flaws and the interior is original. but this Alfa really needs nothing (well. except maybe a radio). It’s had a fresh service and when I got the car. we went through it to correct any significant flaws. like sagging Bertone doors. which is common to Bertone coupes. I don’t have a full set of books or tools. I picked up one owner’s handbook supplement and that’s all that comes with the car. I do have a clean and clear title in-hand. Any Alfa collectors… I am considering selling my UBER-RARE.
