1969 AMC AMX BIG BAD BLUE 343 AUTO, EXCELLENT RESTORED

In 1968 AMC introduced the Dick Teague designed Javelin and the short version of the Javelin which was named simply the AMX. The AMX was a two seat sports car (1968 through 1970 for two seat cars) available with all AMC engine/transmission combinations, ith this car being a 343 V8/automatic. The AMX cars were all numbered in sequence, ith a plaque fixed to the center of the dash. This 1969 car is dash plaque number 12750.

In 1969 and 1970 AMC introduced, o help generate recognition and fit in with the times, he Big Bad colors – Blue, range and Green.

The car for sale is an authentic BIG BAD BLUE car. It has been nicely restored, n what by all appearances is a very solid base car with no visable rust out or rust out repairs, ut does have a few scratches and such, s are picked up by cars actually used in daily life. The seats have been replaced with more modern and comfortable units, ut do look very good in the car, nd are comfortable (The original seats are not available). The engine is a recent overhaul and runs out nicely with very good power and the transmission shifts well. The traction bars are in place and the rear axle is quiet. The wheels are the original for the car, he tires are good. This is a true ready to run car for weekend joy rides, ar shows and can, uring nice weather of course, e used as a daily car. Fuel mileage is not bad with the 343 4V.
