You are bidding on the rarest 1965 Rambler Rogue. I have only found 1 other 1965 Rogue on line and it was a hard top. Those of you in the AMC world that have never seen a 1965 Rambler Rogue here it is. They were not produced by AMC/ Rambler in 1965 but these were a dealer optioned car only. Rumor has it around 100 were optioned and distributed in the northwest region. Trying to research the origin of this rare car met with many dead ends as there was no records that were kept for these optioned cars. I know that you will not find the emblems that are on this car anywhere! It started life from Production as a 440H and modified at the dealership. The body and interior are as close to stock as I can tell, ut I have modified the drive train to create a much more enjoyable cruise. I change it from its original 242 6cyl to a 343 v8, org Warner transmission and new rear end. Almost everything is new or restored. I finished this restoration about 4 years ago. entered it in an All AMC show and got a third place for it. I did not restore some of the stainless steel trim so there are some minor scratches here and there. The paint is near flawless with the exception of a few minor spots in 4 years. Overall it is awesome and a hoot to drive with many of looks and smiles. Every show it gets lots of attention.
