We purchased this AMX from TomBrockton 3 years ago. Heresponded to my Porsche 914 trade for Amx advert. Tom had found this car on Van Ness street in San Francisco around 1978. The young man was running a small block engine in the Amx at the time. Tom said he would buy the Amx if the originalengine was available. The youngman said it was under an apple tree athismoms in Napa and off they went. Sure enough there was theengineand after it was rebuilt around 1980 it was returned to the engine bay. BOY DOES IT RUN. This is one of the most free revving engines I have ever heard. Vroom up it goes, and Wrrrrrrr right back down it settles. It is a documented go-pack car with factory AC. Tom re-did everything in the car down to the turn indicator sockets. The interior really is a thing of beauty in this Amx and smells fresh. The paint is solid but thin in spots. The car was changed over from green to white and there are some easy fixes that need to be done. Exhaust could be better but we like it loud and rowdy. The stripesdon't line up perfect, but the underside is very nice and this car is my partners daily driver, heck he will tell youallabout it. Serious buyers leave a number to call. We are oldschool like that. We talk cars all day with the best of em'. Rus and Dan
