Description of 1967 AMC Ambassador DPL |
1967 Rambler/AMC Ambassador DPL convertible project car for sale. Only 1,260 made and likely the most beautiful car to ever roll out of Kenosha. Rough condition to be sure with bondo, wear, tear and neglect clearly evident but car is all there and savable as the floor pan, unibody and trunk are solid. I bought the car off the east coast this winter and have no time for it due to a change in jobs. Door seams are even and body shows no signs of sag. 290 auto looks to be original. Previous owner showed me recent video that it runs, lot drives and brakes but reverse is out of trans. 86,878 on the odometer. PS/PB tilt, electric wipers, vanity mirror, twin trac. Power top works. NOS front bumper. Complete tune-up kit for motor included ($125). Clean title. In storage in a Syracuse, NY warehouse for last couple decades. Includes a nice semi-complete perfect rust free ’67 Ambo 990 sedan for parts that will make a restoration much easier and will help to defray the cost by selling duplicate stuff. The sedan has no motor or trans even though it is in the pic and is missing several other parts including much of the dash. Parts alone I think these cars would go well for over a couple grand:
This is a no reserve deal. I have more than this in them and the parts value is well over twice the starting bid. These cars aregoing to sell. I cannot storethem all winter. I'm happy to work with professional transports. I’m willing to transport up to 200 miles for $2/mile one way with car and transport paid in advance. You're also welcome to take whatever you want off the sedan and leave the carcass. Heck, if you want to strip them both and leave two carcasses that's fine too! The title is a clean PA title that was transferred to my name but I've never gotten an OH title. You're buying the car and title as-is. If you want me to run the title through to my name and provide a clear signed and notarizedOH title I'll do it for the $150 in fees and taxes that it will cost me. That willalso require me to trailer it to a DMV for a VIN verification. The sedan has no title. $500 via PAYPAL due within 48 hrs of accepted bid, rest cash on pickup. |
