Introduced in 1955, American Motors Corporation new Rambler Six was a midsize family car designed to go head to head with competitors from GM, Chrysler, and Ford. Featuring distinct styling with a large center grill, open rear fender wells, and rear tail fins, it was a sharp looker. The car was sold under the Rambler brand and was offered in a number of body styles. 1958 featured a number of styling changes as well as a number of body styles...included the popular wagon, known as the Cross Country. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this beautiful little Rambler sedan for your consideration. The sedan is finished in a very distance two tone Mint Green with light green accents. The exterior is very clean and highly original. There are a few imperfections here and there, but it is overall very nice. The car is equipped with painted steel wheels with hubcaps and has excellent chrome and trim as well. The interior is original and charming as well, and the seats still even have the plastic factory coverings. The car features green cloth upholstered that is very clean. a 195cid I6 engine mated to a 3-speed column shifter with overdrive, this car is relaxed and cruises down the road very well. The engine is numbers matching and runs like a cham. The car has had just a single owner since new.
