Description of 1956 Austin Healey Other

1956 Austin-Healey 100s are rare and very collectable British sports cars. Only about 4900 were made. This car was restored to a very high level about 8 years ago in Arizona according to the previous owner’s family. Since that time it has been driven only 450 miles and was stored in optimal conditions resulting in a vehicle that looks freshly restored. According to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust document. it was originally white but is now beautiful Red over Black two-tone with an interior of black with red piping seats and black carpets. This roadster also has a black soft top in like new condition. The original twin-carb four-cylinder engine is backed by the original four-speed manual transmission with electric overdrive. The car starts. drives and stops easily. Austin-Healey 100 BN2s feature a unique fold-down windshield and wire wheels with knock-off hubs. The paint and chrome are excellent. Every screw and bolt is clean. The underside is as clean as the top. I doubt you could find another example of a numbers matching Austin Healey 100 BN2 restored to original condition as good as this one. The body was checked with both a body filler and paint meter and was determined to be solid metal through out. I have not seen any visible evidence of panel replacement. These cars sell at auction for $70-$100K. I would rather sell it direct for less than pay a 10% seller fee as you would paying a 10% buyer fee! This is a unique opportunity to own an icon of Austin-Healey history. Examples of this model in this condition rarely come up for sale. Inspection is encouraged and available by appointment.
