Offered for sale, rom KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, s this extremely nice and desirable BN-6 Two-Seater Roadster in a very sharp and attractive color scheme. This car was comprehensively body-on restored by KURT TANNER RESTORATIONS approximately 10 years ago, nd is holding up very well. It is being offered for sale from the ownership of a Pacific Northwest client who very good car of it in the last decade, nd drove the car under 3000 miles since completion. It is a very well sorted car that is ready to be enjoyed.
This car was originally purchased by myself before the restoration as a low-mileage California car. The body and chassis were in excellent preserved condition, o it was decided at that point to perform a comprehensive body-on restoration.
Details of the restoration include show-quality, wo-stage bodywork and paintwork over a body stripped to bare metal. Sikkens basecoat/clearcoat system was employed. The car was then color-sanded, uffed, nd polished to a mirror-like finish. The undercarriage was also painted a t the same time. Today, he coachwork is unmarked and still in the same beautiful condition, estament to the car's quality workmanship...The car's original brightwork was replated or purchased new. The interior was completely renewed using quality Moss Motors panel kit, arpet kit, ear Armacord shelf kit, runk kit, ew sidescreen set and bag, ront leather seat kits with new foam cushions, ew rubber kit, oor seals, tc. A custom cloth black top and tonneau were fitted from scratch. A new windshield was installed. The top frame was powder coated, new wiring harness was fitted, he existing nuts and bolt were cadmium plated, he carburetors were rebuilt and a new fuel pump and gas tank was fitted. The excellent, ealthy 6-cylinder drivetrain was cleaned, inspected, e-sealed, nd painted/detailed correct Austin Healey green. The radiator was reconditioned. New rubber hoses were fitted throughout. The braking system was completely rebuilt with new kits and flexy hoses and a new exhaust system was fitted with new hangers.
New 48-spoke painted wire wheels were fitted and balanced to quality 165x15 radial tires, long with new knockoffs.
The car today stands in lovely, verall excellent condition with exceptional paintwork, elying the age of it's restoration. It has been exercised and enjoyed regularly with the hope that it's next home would treat it the same. The car is very good value for an attractive and pretty Two-Seater in a striking color scheme. It's absolutely on-the-button and ready to go with good provenance restored by KURT TANNER RESTORATIONS.
