1955 Austin Healey 100 . This is a 1955 Austin Healey, 100, BN2L, S/N 228070, Body No. 10066, making it about the twentieth built of the BN2 range. This car was originally sold in Paris, and was fitted with the Le Mans Conversion Kit. (I included a shot through the grill showing the cross brace cut to fit the conversion cam shaft.) It is a four speed, overdrive car with its original engine and drive train. It was originally white with red interior. I have had this car for about twenty five years and the owner before me had it for ten in its current condition. Though it was complete when I bought it and I had bought lots of parts for it, we had a fire several years ago and while the car was stored elsewhere, parts from it and for it were lost in the fire. Look closely at the pictures as these show everything that is either included or missing…i.e. ’what you see…’ ( I do have the hood which is non-louvered and straight.) This is sold with a Bill of Sale. Overall the car is quite solid. There are however a number of rust repairs needed. The frame is straight and fairly solid. For instance, the front cross member should be replaced and at least one short leg on the central X-brace along with some side frame extensions. I have lots of pictures but can only upload to the limit of the listing. Please ask any questions you might have about the car. I will require a $500.00 deposit via Paypal within 48 hrs. and the balance in ten days. If paying by check, collected funds are required before release of the car. Cash at pickup by arrangement is also good. I would like pickup in two weeks but will work with you if everything else is in order. I am located near Greenville, SC, close to I-85, and loading will be simple. If you are having it picked up I will work with your transporter to get it loaded. If you have no previous bid history on eBay, or are outside of the USA, please contact me in advance before bidding. Bidders with no history and ‘sharp shooting’ at the last moment, or having no prior contact and/or positives, will have their bid discarded. Only reliable bidder/buyers are invited to bid. Thanks for your interest, and best of luck. These really are one of the prettiest designs ever...and I think these 100/4’s are actually more fun than the six’s..but you decide for yourself. Regards, Murph
