Description of 1984 BMW 5-Series 528e

Up for sale is my 1984 BMW 528e (E28).
I bought this car about four months ago to fix up the interior and finish restoring but unfortunately Ineed a larger vehicle.
The vehicle was purchased from Louisiana from the original owner's son; the car shows two owners,father and son, nd has been in that family since new. I have a booklet with all of the service receipts forthe vehicle since 1984 when the vehicle was purchased. The car has been a southern vehicle it's wholelife, rom Louisiana to its current home in Florida.
Mechanically, he vehicle is solid and is ready to be driven on a daily basis from what I can gather. Thecar has been kept up to date on its servicing and the previous owner did a compression test recentlyshowing that the engine cylinders are very healthy for its age. I drove the vehicle for several miles overthe four months that I've owned it and it runs strong with the temperature on the cool side at all times.Clutch is strong and feels great.
I had the fuel lines replaced with new ones as well as had new battery contacts and a new batteryinstalled. All work was done here at Cars and Concepts in Tampa, eceipts included.
The interior needs work, lain and simple. The seats are in pretty good condition with minor tears onthe driver's side, ut the cushions are a little flat. The left rear door panel is in the trunk. The carpetneeds cleaning, can't see any stains but it'll need a thorough cleaning. Dash has cracks and the ashtrayneeds to be popped back in. As stated, he interior needs attention.
The body is straight and there are no signs of accident damage, arfax shows none. The car looks like itwas repainted a few years ago. The paint has a nice shine to it but it's not perfect. There are some areasthat could use a polish. There are one or two bubbles where there could be some surface rust.
The undercarriage is clean and I don't see any structural rust at all. There are some spots on the cornersof the body where there is some rust like the corner of the door.
The only things wrong with the car are cosmetic. The interior needs attention, he roof could use apolish and it needs some cleaning up and a refresh.
Other than that, t's ready to be driven every day. The car is rock solid.
