Description of 1993 BMW 3-Series

92k original miles, spd manual. Completely stock minus lighting, 5" Dial Elysees, nd a front strut bar. I drive this baby daily, o mileage will increase. All preventative maintenance has been completed, y me, o make this suitable for daily driving and long trips to be had this spring/summer should I hold on to her.
When purchased, emp needle was fluctuating between 1/4 and middle, ever passed the middle line. I gave BMW of Alexandria a call to order a new tstat, stat housing and gasket. Thoughts of 'while I'm in there' eventually led to me purchasing, t the same time, new waterpump w/ o ring, pper/lower radiator hoses, nd expansion tank with coolant level sensor. While in there, t was obvious the radiator was recently replaced, ith a behr unit and with fan clutch (oe) and blades (oe) by the previous owner. While I'm unsure at what mileage, t's not hard to miss. According to the carfax, t 67k miles it states 'cooling system checked'. However, omponents look fairly new.
Car also came with new brakes and rotors all around. Not sure on what brand they are, ut they do not squeak nor do they leave brake dust all over the wheels after a week or whatever (I wash the car once a week anyway, o I can't say)
Paint is in great shape, inor door dings here and there but nothing that causes an eye sore. Few rock chips up front but, gain, othing that serious. In my opinion, he car has been fully repainted at one point in her life (original black schwarz) and looks fantastic. Could have been 2 years ago, ould have been 10 years ago, ut there's no fading, o mismatched panels, o defects other than a few door dings, nd a few rock chips up front. & these chips are no more than just chips, ill not cause any paint peeling or anything. The work was quality. Even all new weather stripping and window moldings were installed all around, ither that or removed and reinstalled for paint. No signs of any taping around anywhere. If I hadn't mention any of this, 'm sure I could've passed it on as original paint. No rust on the rockers, owever I plan to touch them up in the spring, hey're lighter then bumpers
Interior is also in great shape, o tears in the seats, ll door panels tight. Added a zhp knob and head unit with Bluetooth. Headliner is not bad, ut something I would address soon. I plan to do this in the spring. Drivers side a pillar has broken tabs and is in the trunk. Ive already sourced a replacement ready for recovering. Seats are power, eated. I've replaced the reclining gear in driver's seat. Works perfect. Everything in here works. Repaired the comfort relay because all windows and sunroof wouldn't work when I purchased. All in perfect working order now.
I hold a va rebuilt title, n my name, or rear collision. Passenger side rear trailing arm was bent and rear bumper was cracked. Trailing arm was replaced with a used part off a 325 with similar mileage. Car passed safety inspection easily and emissions with excellent numbers. I have car fax in hand from time of purchase. Can also provide vin to you if you wish.Small cons:
-Brake light failure warning sometimes comes on. All lights work, y guess is the brake light switch-low beam failure for projectors-small power steering leak. I have the hoses, ashers and clamps ready to go. Need to find time myself to do this.
