Description of 1989 BMW 3-Series

This 1989 BMW 325iS is a 2-door examplepowered by a2.5L inline-six paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential. I purchased the car in June 2018 and it has since remained largely unused. This E30 is offered with partial records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Utah title in the seller's name. This car is truly a step back in time. To my knowledge this 1989 alpine white 325iS is 100% original and all maintenance and repairs over the years have been with the correct OEM BMW parts. Previous owner stated that the car stayed within their family (father and son) for it's whole life. Father passed away and family was not able to find receipts and invoices for maintenance over the years. Carfax contains partial maintenance records from 2002 on. To my knowledge, the car has almost every available option that was available from BMW. Car Specs: - 5 speed manual transmission mated to a 2.5L in-line 6. - The BBS 14" basketweave wheels are in great shape. - Tires have great tread left - Black leather interior includes BMW sport seats. - Original iS front lip with recently replaced clips - The 3.73 limited slip differential makes this thing a blast to drive. - Map light option on rear view mirror. Both are functional - Rear iS spoiler is in great shape - M-tech 1 steering wheels is in great shape with original markings and BMW M-clip. - Original Hella ellipsoid headlights - Both front power windows are fully functional - Rear windows have pop-out option and work flawlessly - Power sunroof works with slide and tilt - The original radio is sill intact and has the matching code, but currently inoperable needing unlocking) - Radio has the optional touch sensitive slide bar - Original BMW stiffer iS sport tuned shocks and front springs - Central locking works - BMW Premium sound system - Original Alpine white II paint. The hood does have some chips and tiny paint cracks. When properly buffed out, it will look amazing. - Equipped with thicker BMW iS sway bars - Recently replaced BMW Group battery - Completely original AC system. AC compressor turns on and blows air, probably just needs a recharge. - Previous owner stated that all fluids were changed in early 2017 and car has been driven very few miles since. Timing belt and water pump were supposedly replaced at 211k miles, however there is no documentation. The car has a couple small surface rust spots that were touched up with matching alpine white II paint by previous owner, over buffed paint in a small spot, and a couple dents. Pictures show details. The car always starts and runs well. A couple times, I have noticed a rough idle for the first 1-3 seconds after start, and then it levels out. Nothing I would be worried about. I would trust it to drive across the country without a problem. Due to speedometer issues years ago, the cluster was replaced. Current miles is just over 219k, but previous owner stated the mileage is closer to 170k. Dash only has one small crack on passenger side. Original 13 button OBC computer works, but the backlight will need to be replaced. Haven't been able to test heater due to the hot Utah summer, but don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. As you can see in pictures, fog lights have a couple cracks in the lens, so I will include new lenses in the sale. Car also leaks 2-3 drops of oil after a hot drive, but once engine cools down it stops after a couple slow drops. Overall, the car is amazing and I have tried to be very open and honest about any flaws it has. I have driven it very few miles, and it's very obvious the car has been well cared for over the years. Pulls harder than any other e30 I have driven and runs very smooth. These days, a 100% stock original 325iS is very rare. With a small amount of work, this car could be a perfect example of how this car was right off the lot in 1989. 95+ Photos here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1yr3xDD5eBFslqiwIZykMUDCsblgKfX3x
