Description of 1974 BMW 2002 Tii

Here is a chance to own a rare Beautiful 2002 tii sunroof always rust free highly maintained classic! The name 2002 tii a name synonymous with Munich built quality. That alone is unique in this world of cars built by robots in all sorts of countries . This unique one year only square tail light car was a one owner from new till 2014 . Original Calif. Blue plates. It has all the receipts from the original owner totaling close to $20. 00. It has had a factory replacement engine with no numbers. It has rebuilt fuel injection pump and much more that I will try to list . The super straight body has had recent glass out trim lights bumpers off base coat / clearcoat paint job by Autosports Exclusive San Mateo. It was color sanded and buffed to a mirror finish!! New clips front and rear seals sunroof seals and some new pieces and center grill replaced at that time. Also replaced was the heater fan with a new one New tires freshly painted BBS style factory wheels added. I was tempted to go with the Euro bumpers which still could be done but I figure as time will tell the increase in value will be most with a showroom condition car. Besides they work well and allow it to be used as a daily driver! This CAR IS A REAL JOY TO DRIVE . nbsp; hate to sell but a recent acquisition dictates I must. When buying a 40+ year old BMW these are the questions I would ask. Rust? Never! Heater fan new Bilstein shocks yes special blue springs yes ball joints replaced yes clutch excellent . Driveline rebuilt yes. Brakes great yes. Exhaust stock in good condition yes! Sunroof works easy? yes. new seals door brakes working good yes. Windows roll up easy inside door rods new gummi inserts yes. Trans and synchos excellent yes! Rear diff quiet yes! Guages and speedo working perfect . Cold start works fast starting yes! compression oil pressure excellent yes! No leaks or smoke of any kind. New Hi out put alternator and spiral battery yep. Original clean carpet Recaro seats wood steering wheel. very minor cracks in dash repaired well. Ok now how does it drive ? Well I can say fantastic and like no other car. That is what put BMW on track to where they are today from being almost out of business in the mid 60's Clear title in my name in hand but also a copy of the 1974 first issued title.
