Selling my daily driver 1983 BMW 528e. Unfortunately after having the timing belt changed, it developed poor idle and a hot restart issue, common in these cars. Car does start but has vacuum leak. I couldn't spend the time or money to try get it running reliable. The car has a transplanted 1986 BMW M20 engine. Since I owned the car I have done the following. Replaced tires, rotors.brakes, front suspension components, engine mounts, transmission mount, rear diff mount, rear exhaust, gauge cluster, oil pan gasket, coolant expansion tank, in-tank fuel pump, external fuel pump, fuel filter, vacuum hoses, gas lines, alternator, water pump, various sensors, timing belt, air flow meter, check control panel and other various smaller items. I also have extra parts. Two ECU's, two idle control boxes, two air flow meter boxes, gauge cluster parts, other various parts. The car does have some rust, especially under the drivers side jack point but all fixable. The hood also needs to be adjusted but it closes fine. If anyone has any questions, wants more pictures or wants to see the car in person, let me know.
