Description of 1989 BMW 3-Series |
Selling our 1989 325i convertible. It’s Bronzit on Natur with a 5spd manual. The car is originally a Texas car, being 100% rust free, with zero accidents, all original panels with VIN tags intact and original paint. The car has had an extensive service list performed, which I will list below. There are no extra lights on, on the dash, everything works just as it should. The original radio works perfectly, but the LED screen is starting to bleed, making the display difficult to read at times, but not impossible. The dash is crack free, in amazing condition. The seats are heated and all in nice shape, no tears or rips (minus top of rear seat like every convertible) but the Texas sun has faded some parts of the leather. It could easily be dyed again, but I would just preserve the originality. The exterior has no damage at all, the only noticeable ding on the very front of the driver fender (see photo) about the size of an eraser head. The paint does have some checking to it, but cleans up extremely well. All the trim is in good shape, and the basket weave wheels are all straight and clean. The working odometer currently shows 156k miles, the SI board in the cluster has been replaced with a lithium battery unit. The car drives exceptionally well, nothing is needed. The power is put down through a 3.73 LSD differential with Redline fluid. Here’s a pretty thorough list of what had been replaced recently. Everything replaced is with OEM BMW parts or equivalent with last 100 miles. I planned on keeping this car forever, but we can across a calypso convertible, and we don’t need two. The A/C has been converted to R134a and works, but leaks down at the compressor over time. I’m asking $5500 for the car. Feel free to ask any questions. |
