Description of 1990 BMW 3-Series

Hi folks,
I have received inquiriesfrom all over the country so I will throw in free shipping to thelower 48 states at thebuy it now price, upto a max of $1k!
Up for grabs is a well maintained low mile e30 325is. It is in very good shape for its age, having undergone a mechanical refresh and an interiorand exterior rejuvenation. It has been well maintained throughout theyears, and service records included.

I have been aBMW CCA member since the late 90s, and have been around e30s, e28s, e34s and M cars for quite a while. These e30s are great cars that need no introduction. I have done a good bit of work to make it a sound daily driver.
MECHANICAL: The 2.5 L inline 6 sounds great and has great pick up. It shifts great through all the gears. Tracks straight down thehighway, with thatsweet engine noise. AC and heat work great.
Recent work of approx ~$3500 includes -
- Timing belt and water pump 2 months ago. The previous t-belt service was in 2013.- AC service with compressor and drier.- Tune up with cap, rotors and spark plugs- Clutch was replaced by previous owner and shifts great.- Recent Bilstein shocks.- Rear brakes were just done.- Fluid change- New ball joints and alignment. Recentsuspension refresh includes bilstein shocks- New fuel pump relay- New idle control valve
EXTERIOR: The Schwartz paint appears mostly original and has been treated to a 3 stage paint rejuvenation. No RUST or Floods.
- No paint fading.- MatchingVIN# on all panels.- Bumper trim piecesare new.- All driving lights and front fog lights work.- No cracks in thewindshield.- There are some imperfections in thehood from rock chips and bird droppings, from 30 years of exposure. Small shallow dings and a small dent on theleading edgeof thehood are also present (see pic), but not very noticeablefrom 5 feet.- Car will come with 15" Borbet wheels with tires in great shape shown at the end. Thepictured OEM 14" basketweaves that have been refurbishedand shod in new 14" tires will be available if the highest offer is close to thebuy it now or for anadditional$500 to thehighest bidder, ifinterested.- In 2010, it was in a minor front end incidentwhere thefront bumper had to be replaced. The fenders and hood are original to the car.
INTERIOR: The gray interior in very good shape and contrasts the exterior quite well.
- It has been treated to a set of reupholstered front seats that look great. The upper rear seat was also redone to remedy some seam splits.- Headliner is in good shape and is not sagging.- NON SMOKERS- New floor mats- New shift knob- The radio is an Alpine unit that works great with speakers that in good shape.- The power antenna works!- The sunroof opens andclosesas well.- Glove box has been re hingedand worksfine.- Dash has a couple cracks that have been treated. Dash cover included.- Slight wear on the steering wheel and rear seat bottom.- Driver's window works. The passenger side does not and may need a new switch.
The last 2 elderly owners prior to me drove it sparingly andmileage didn't accumulate much.
In summary, you are gettinga well maintainedthat has had thousands of dollars of work done recently. Remember this a not a new car and is not perfect.
