Description of 1983 BMW 3-Series I

This is a 1983 Sapphire Blue 320i with 115k miles and a 5spd transmission. It is a beautiful, clean, very well-maintained example that gets driven often and lovingly. It is a driver quality car and I would love to sell it to someone who will keep driving it.
I have driven it nearly every day since I bought it in April 2018 and I have taken it on more than a few longer road trips without issue. The owner prior to the previous owner had it from the mid 90's through to 2017. He owned a body shop and repainted it the factory color with clear coat in '98 or '99 and fitted a euro motorsport front bumper and the rear spoiler you see in the photos. I was told that the rear spoiler is an OEM BMW piece that he ordered from BMW back in the 90's but I have no proof of that and I haven't been able to identify the piece without removing it. A lot of other maintenance was done at the time including fitting a new OEM clutch and rebuilding the sunroof. From that point through to when I purchased it, about 6k miles were added, and the car lived in a garage exclusively. I was told it was never even driven in the rain. I have since put on about 12k miles on the car to reach 115k where it sits today.
Additions/Pros:
Zero rust.
Bilstein shocks and HR springs all around
Stock 13 inch steelies, currently on the car, all season tires bought late 2018 and have about 2k miles on them, and comes with two sets of BMW wheel caps
Coco floor mats that I pulled from a parts car, they are not in particularly great condition.
Euro OEM motorsport front bumper
Euro OEM rear spoiler
Complete sound system with a small sub in the trunk.
Handmade wooden spare tire cover for the trunk
70% tint all around except windshield which just has a UV filter tint.
Parts that come with the car:
15x7 Euro BBS basket weaves in decent condition, far from perfect.
Euro brackets for rear bumper if you wanted to do that conversion
Extra fuel system parts, including a full set of injectors, lines, and fuel distributor
OEM limited slip differential from a 320is, not installed.
OEM rear sway bar from a 320is, not installed.
The previous owner had a massive two 10 inch sub setup in the back that I still have if someone happens to be interested in rocking your neighborhood.
OEM repair handbook, electrical wiring diagrams book, and original owners manual, including the original bill of sale from '83 and a bunch of other interesting paperwork.
Extra stock style muffler, brand new, never used.
Various exhaust gaskets
Extra fuel pump relay (common failure point on E21's)
Extra external fuel pump
Too many assorted small bits and pieces to list.
In 2017 the entire Kjet fuel system was replaced by Korman Autoworks along with some other basic items below. I have stacks of papers documenting all of this. The following has been done since 2017, most of which has been done in the past 10k miles.

Cons/Problems
This car has been very good to me and very reliable, however it does have some issues.
Has a small exhaust rattle around 3500rpm
A couple of rock chips on the front of the hood
Multiple rock chips and blemishes on the front bumper
Rear deck carpet is a little faded
Dash is cracked but has a clean dash cap on it
Driver seat has small tear in it
Missing steering column cover, I had it off to replace a bunch of things and realized it was the source of a very annoying squeaking noise so I threw it in my shed and it was lost in a move.
AC does not work. I was told the compressor seized at some point and the belt was taken off. All components are still in the car.
I highly encourage you to come see it in person if interested. I adore this car and will miss it a lot if it sells, but I am also prepared to hold on to it for a few more years if I don't get what I want for it. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have, I could spit out tons of information about the car. Will provide more photos upon request. No test drives without cash in hand due to the whole pandemic thing.
