Description of 1976 BMW 2002

Here is a nice classic 2002. Daily driver with current brake tag. The exterior is untouched so it is for the purist or anyone who wants to alter it to their own taste. Tires were recently changed. Original clean interior. ( front seat freshly re upholstered). engine runs great. automatic shifts smooth. clean dashboard with no cracks! Overall inside in great shape minus one small blemish on driver seat side ( see pics). Starts quick at about second or third crank . looked at many 02's. this one made most sense. most have destroyed interiors and accidents bodies. bumpers are original and super straight. complete car and never molested. has rust spots here and there. most you'll see as trunk sides in picture. driver and passenger side about 3" floor spot each. small spots around the windshields. 1 easy fix on driver side rail ( see pics). Exterior paint still has some shine to it. Body does not have major dents. just usual wear and tear from being almost 40 years old! Odometer stopped working but I have documentation of mileage until 2. 50 when odometer turned over. Comes with spare key. Car does have factory AC but not working at the moment. Heater works. Driver side window needs a little help to roll up towards the top. Passenger window works fine. Various repairs were done on the car recently. New master cylinder. Electrical work including harness. front and side lights wiring was repaired. New alternator. new voltage regulator. Fuel and coolant hoses were replaced. New Drive shaft. Regular oil change. The car will eventually need a new shock on passenger side. I have maintenance records from the first year of the car until the end of 1996. I personally repaired everything that needed to be addressed when I purchased the car and have records of various repairs mentioned above. Comes with spare tire and jack. Car is sold as is.
