Description of 1963 Buick Riviera |
The 1963-1965 Buick Rivieras are arguably the most beautiful and elegant design to come out of GM in the 1960's. This car, ith it's modern stance and wheels, as lost none of the sophistication that this style embodies. Loaded with options including: Ice cold Air conditioning, ower windows and vents, ront seat belts, ower seat, ilt steering wheel, our note horn, emote outside mirror, utomatic trunk release, ower antenna, utronic-Eye (automatic headlight dimmer), eather bucket seats, urse hook and power steering and brakes. Modern upgrades include: 20" wheels, owered suspension, M/FM/CD stereo with custom speaker enclosures and a hidden subwoofer and amplifier plus a trunk mounted CD changer and a pair of auxiliary gauges hidden in the old ashtray area. Recently installed new cap and rotor, lugs and plug wires, ew rear seatbelts installed, 0 series flowmasters, nd new exhaust from manifold back. The car has an older repaint in the original arctic white that still shows well. The bumpers and trim look great. The interior has had the seats, oor panels and dash covered in beautiful and supple ebony Mercedes leather using the original style and pattern. The carpet is from BMW. The headliner is gray cloth. The trunk has been carpeted to match the interior. The under carriage has been cleaned and rustproofed. The car had no rust. This car has the optional and rare (only 2,601 produced) 425 ci Wildcat 465 engine. It is the original matching numbers engine. Approx. 3k miles ago the oilpan was removed to replace the rear main seal and the owner also replaced the oil pump for good measure. The car runs and drives excellent. All options work great including the air conditioning. All of the lights and signals work. You could not build the car for close to the asking price. The interior alone was $11k. The 20k miles on the car is believed to be original but unfortunately we have no documentation. If you have any question please call Dustin at 319-759-4334. |
