Description of 1963 Buick Riviera |
1963 Buick Riviera, lean, reat Stance, un Car Here's a very stylish bit of American iron with a great appearance, mellow rumble, erfect low stance, nd a freshly rebuilt Wildcat 445 V8 engine. The interior is all fresh, t looks great, nd is a very cool representation of the early 1960's. The body is nice, hows well, nd is exceptionally solid as the car originally came from the dry climate of Utah. The paint is good, ery respectable, nd the original chrome still shines nicely for a driver, oo. The original trunk floor is excellent testimony to how dry this car has been over its 51 years of life. The interior has all been recently refreshed including headliner, oor panels, eat upholstery, nd carpeting. It features plush bucket seats, actory console, riginal in-dash Sonomatic radio, nd a new dash cover, oo. The original Riviera steering wheel is showing its age with some cracks and could stand to be restored. Mechanically it is a nice driver and features a freshly rebuilt optional Wildcat 445 engine with just a few hundred miles on it, n automatic transmission, nd tastefully lowered suspension as well. It runs nicely, hifts properly, rakes are good, nd the radial tires have good tread, oo. There are a few details that could use looking into including the speedometer and the gas gauge is not working as it needs a new sending unit. The owner has enjoyed driving it to local shows and cruising it but is looking to downsize his collection. He has spent a lot of money and time to bring the car to this enjoyable condition and you'll have a hard time finding a cleaner example with this good of a value.
