Description of 1965 Buick Riviera #s matching Gran Sport

I have a writtenappraisalfrom Volo AutoMuseum in Volo Illinois on 9/12/2015 giving this car a value of 27,000.00.This is a 65 Riviera Gran sport Matching #s car 425 Super Wildcat with factory dual 4bbl carbs 3.42 posi traction rear end LX engine code BS trans code. The gauges work the windows work the clamshell headlights work. Engine runs awesome ( not a smoker or a leaker ). tires good brakes good exhaust good.Mileageshows 42k but can't prove to be original. No AC in this car but it does have power brakes power steering power driver seat power windows tilt steering,the heater works, do have the original radio for the car. New alt. and battery.
This is the part many sellers fail to disclose for fear of losing a sale, ar is of driver quality, t has a few bubbles in the paint in typical 65 Riviera spots, ver the rear wheels and where the roof meets the quarter and over the drip rail. There is some body filler I detected around the bottom of the rear window area and in the lower quarters. The trunk and floor has some patches too. The floor supports havesomerust damage thatappearsto be decades old, hown in picture. ( Desert Valley Auto has a collection of Rivieras for floor supports and other hard to find parts.)
The car is priced to sell, purchased it out in Washington state and have not had it long, nbsp;3354 of these Gran Sport models built in 65, gain its a driver not a show queen, ut nothing that you will be embarrassed about, ou can have fun with this car for many years before having to do anything to it. If you want a show car 65 Riv Gran Sport you better plan on adding about 20k to the price I am asking for my car. I am not an expert in the Riviera and I have tried my best to describe it accurately telling the bad and showing the bad and used all 24 pics ebay would allow, f there is anything specific you want pics of just ask.
