Description of 1964 Buick Riviera

The car is sold and pretty straight, ut does need to be restored. The 425 Nailhead engine is stuck, as not run for decades.

Tranny fluid is not good, ranny will likely need rebuild.
There is rust in the right rear lower quarter, nd a dent in the drivers door (like someone backed into something with door open slightly). The car is nicely equipped and has rare rear door handles (just in case you are back there, obody in front, nd you need to get out) All factory glass, o cracks. Power windows work.

It has dual quads and finned aluminum valve covers.(NOT included)
Cowl vin tag and engine stamping are MATCHING NUMBERS. Engine code is K w 450. Meaning the dual quads and aluminum valve covers were probably added later. It is a very correct looking build, o you have to speculate how it came to be.
CAR is Offered inTHIS Auction as BODY, HASSIS and Engine Block ONLY:
This Auction does NOT include the following:
- carbs, ir cleaner, inkage, intake manifold, alve covers (I will remove them after the sale)

If you want the car as it sitsAs it sits, ncluding all of the excluded parts listed above, strong>then add- $1500 ABOVE the Auction Sale Price.
I havetwo 401 nailheads that were running when pulled,-
61 Invicta 4bbl w/ 3 speed- (tranny still attached) - Add $1000 to Auction Price
62 LeSabre 2bbl w/ 2 speed- (no tranny) - Add $500 to Auction Price

I previously listed this car asa limited edition Super Wildcat Riviera.

The standard engine in '64 was the 425ci V-8 "Wildcat 465" code "KW" which produced 340 hp @ 4400 rpm and 465 torque @ 2800 rpm. The optional engine was the "Super Wildcat" 425 code "KX" with dual carburetors, arge chrome air cleaner and finned aluminum valve covers, hich produced 360 hp @ 4400 rpm, he "Super Wildcat" was also offered on the Wildcat and Electra 225. There was no special ornamentation on the 2,122 Rivieras equipped with the optional engine, hich is often mistakenly identified as a Gran Sport.
The w in the engine code indicates that it is NOT a Super Wildcat.
